What is BB Laser?

BB (blemish balm) Laser also recognized as the Lavieen Laser, operates at a wavelength of 1927nm and is renowned for its non-ablative approach to skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, yielding impressive outcomes with minimal recovery time.
Using customizable energy and intensity settings, BB Laser effectively addresses various concerns such as melasma, pigmented lesions, wrinkles, large pores, and more, resulting in noticeably brighter skin.

How does it work?

BB Laser targets the basal layer of the epidermis, where melanin resides.
BB Laser expedites the skin exfoliation turnover cycle, leading to faster clearance of pigmentation. Operating at a wavelength of 1927 nm, BB Laser (LAVIEEN) has a higher affinity for water absorption precisely targeting the epidermis without significantly increasing thermal damage which minimizes downtime. By enhancing skin texture and addressing pigmented blemishes, this results in a fairer and more radiant complexion, as if you were wearing BB cream!

How many treatments are needed?

You will notice a marked improvement with a single treatment; however, we do recommend 4-8 treatment sessions spaced every 4 weeks. Following this initial series, periodic procedures can be scheduled for maintenance.

With a series of treatments the power and intensity of the laser can gradually be increased in the safest manner. The optimal treatment plan will be curated by our practitioners based on your individual anatomy, skin quality, and aesthetic goals.

What to expect?

Following an assessment by our specialists, the skin is numbed and prepared before the procedure. Numbing typically takes 30 minutes, and the entire procedure lasts between 10 and 20 minutes.
On the day of the procedure, expect redness and a burning sensation in the treated area, which may persist until the following day. Avoid cleansing the skin on the same day, but consider using cooling therapy to alleviate any discomfort. Following treatment, the skin may become dry and form small microcrust scabs. Apply moisturizing and regenerating cream as needed, and remember to apply sunscreen of at least SPF 30 every 2-3 hours to shield the skin from UV rays.
The redness will gradually diminish, and it is important not to intentionally remove the scabs. Refrain from heavy exercise, sauna sessions, or hot baths for approximately 5 days. Depending on the intensity of the procedure, crust formation typically occurs within 2 to 3 days, with scabs naturally falling off over 3 to 7 days.
