Trapezius Slimming / Barbietox

The trapezius muscle attaches to the shoulder, neck and back and can become larger in size from exercise, tension in the neck, or chronic overuse. To the aesthetic eye, a bulky trapezius muscle can accentuate masculinity. With it rising in trends, “Barbietox” or “Traptox” has become the favored method of creating a slender, feminine and more beautiful silhouette of the shoulders and neck. Using neuromodulators to decrease the size of the trapezius can give the illusion of a longer, slim, and delicate neck and shoulder area. Neuromodulatrs in the trapezius can also help functionality such as pain of the shoulder and neck muscle from overuse, poor posture, weight lifting, and more. This treatment can significantly improve patients who suffer from neck and shoulder pain and certain types of tension headaches. To achieve the best results, units can range from 80-100 units of Botox or 240-300 units of Dysport.

How long will it take to see results?

It will take a full 2 weeks to notice relief in the shoulder region and 8 weeks for maximum slimming from the non-surgical trapezius slimming.

How long do results last?

The results may last 6-9 months but will vary on the individual.
