What is Microneedling?

Microneedling has been increasingly popular over the last 10 years as a safe, effective, and affordable procedure. This minimally invasive procedure involves mechanically prompting the restructuring of skin by using precise shallow needles through the skin’s surface. These punctures trigger the natural wound healing process, starting with an initial inflammatory response and followed by the development of new skin cells. Microneedling boosts collagen and elastin production which consequently enhances the visual quality of facial scars, stretch marks, sun-damaged skin, and skin discoloration issues.

What do I expect?

Treatment takes about 30 minutes to an hour. Numbing cream is used prior to treatment. Following the procedure, you may experience minor swelling and redness, similar to a mild to moderate sunburn, lasting up to two to four days. However, for some individuals, their skin may recover its normal appearance in as little as 24 hours.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

The number of treatments is dependent on each individual. If multiple treatments are needed, it is recommended to space them out about 4 weeks apart.
