Nearly half of patients (47.8%) showed marked improvement (51–75% on a global improvement scale), nasolabial fold area decreased measurably (p = 0.02), and about 78% reported high satisfaction at the 6-month mark. Side effects were limited to temporary redness and swelling that resolved on their own.
A separate case series published in Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology (2025) followed patients with Fitzpatrick Skin Type IV through a single Density treatment session, reporting measurable improvements in skin firmness and texture, visible brow-lifting in several patients, minimal discomfort, and no adverse events or pigment changes — an encouraging early safety signal for deeper skin tones specifically.
